Glossary
PnL (Profit and Loss)
PnL represents the profit or loss a trader has realized (or is yet to realize) from trading activities. It helps measure performance over time and is commonly used in trading dashboards and portfolio management.
Portfolio
A portfolio refers to the collection of digital assets held by a user. In Mozi, users can track, manage, and analyze their portfolio performance, including real-time value, asset allocation, and trading history.
DEX (Decentralized Exchange)
A Decentralized Exchange (DEX) is a platform that allows users to trade digital assets directly without the need for intermediaries. Mozi integrates with partner DEXs to provide seamless in-wallet trading experiences.
Native Staking
Native staking refers to the process of locking up a blockchain’s native asset (such as MONAD) to support network security and consensus while earning staking rewards. Mozi enables users to participate in native staking directly from the wallet.
Liquid Staking
Liquid staking allows users to stake their assets while maintaining liquidity through liquid staking tokens (LSTs). These LSTs can be used in DeFi applications while still earning staking rewards, offering more flexibility than traditional staking.
Total Value Locked (TVL)
Total Value Locked (TVL) is a metric used to measure the total value of digital assets that are locked or staked in a particular decentralized finance (DeFi) platform or decentralized application (dApp). The higher the TVL, the more trustworthy the platform or dApp is perceived to be.
APY
Annual Percentage Yield (APY) represents the real rate of return earned on an investment over a year, taking into account compound interest. In DeFi, APY can vary significantly based on market conditions and protocol mechanisms.
Validators
Validators provide a service to the network by operating and securing the blockchain. They participate in the consensus mechanism and are rewarded with staking incentives for their contribution to network security.
Epoch
An epoch in staking refers to the period during which validators participate in securing the network. It defines how long staked assets must remain locked before rewards are issued.
Yield-Bearing Token
A yield-bearing token represents an asset that generates returns over time. Examples include stETH, GLP, gDAI, or liquidity provider tokens such as Aura rETH-WETH.
Private Key Sharding
Private Key Sharding is a security technique that splits a private key into multiple fragments (shards) and distributes them across secure locations. This enhances security by ensuring that no single entity has full access to the key.
Signal Creation
Signal Creation is a feature that allows users to generate and share buy or sell signals on social media platforms. These signals integrate with Mozi’s partner DEX, enabling seamless trade execution.
